Falling for scams again, I sure hope not. Been on the struggle bus for a minute, and I have been trying really hard to get off. Finally was able to find my way but not sure if this is my correct stop. Well I am here now and I will try and make the best of it. Long summer and it is almost time for the leaves on the trees to start hanging with the pavement again. Not much has changed for my job situation. No six figure salary or cushy office window view has landed on my lap since the last entry. My last post involved signing up with IcoinPro and it isn’t making me large amounts of monies, but I am making enough monthly for a nice cup of Starbucks coffee. I haven’t enrolled anyone personally but the person who I signed up under placed them under me. Not bad for not doing anything. Yes there is a monthly fee and if you immerse yourself into the program there are profits to be made. The way my days are set up I haven’t really turned my focus there yet, but it is coming. SCREEN SHOT OF MY ICOINPRO PAGE Day1 is what I am referring to this new project I will start and get bored with and quit like I usually do but that is what individuals do with too much time on their hands. This program is called 1k a Day and No More Scams. The name along had my curiosity tweeked so I know I had to at least give it a poke. I signed up, did what it asked and I will sit back and see if it matches up to its name. This is a survey program that offers free products and trial offers when you complete a survey. Depending on the type of survey is how you will be rewarded. Notice my page, nothing earned as of yet. Stay posted!
Summertime has turned to fall and winter will soon follow. There has been so many events and tragedies happening worldwide, majority of them life altering. So many have lost home and personal belongings and the way our communities have come together have been in epic proportions. My site has been dedicated to individuals who have lost a job or in between employment looking for alternative income opportunities. Finding monies to survive can be a struggle and when kids are involved it becomes even harder. This year I would like to try something different by starting a Sweaters are Sweeter Fund to help children get through the upcoming winter. My reason for this is because working part time as a substitute teacher in low income areas majority of children would not have on warm clothing. When asked why they did not have on a jacket or coat their reply was they did not have one and/or they lost it and their mom could not afford another one. Many of these homes are single parent homes and sometimes replacing lost items are not on the list. My goal is to help with that burden by starting this sweater fund. I have set up a GOFUNDMEPAGE to start this goal. I am also going to ask friends, neighbors, families, and teachers to help me in this feat. We have showed what we can do nationally, lets show our support locally.
IPhone
IPad IPod Tried them all and so far so good, why not try ICoin. iCoinPro.......anyone familiar with this new type of business module. I decided to dabble a little in the program because it said that I could earn money and make money by buying, selling, and trading bitcoins. I have never heard of bitcoins so I did some research. It is currency but not in paper form. It is electronic money and is supposedly the future. I am all about trying new things and I thought I would give it a try. This matrix I joined said I would make money without having to sign up anyone or introduce anyone to the product. I will make a follow up blog in about a month to see if this company is true to what it offers. Here is a screen shot of my webpage. The site is very user friendly and it offers weekly live meetings on Bitcoins. Very interesting and the owner of the program attends every week.....Time will tell about this program. Sleepless nights and productive days is how the masses operate. Well at least in my world since I am still looking for that million dollar check in the mail. Depending on what part of the globe you reside, the hail storm in my city woke me up early and threw my sleep pattern off. Waking up frazzled makes for a long day because my body feels cheated out of the last hour and a half it didn’t get. It also affects my attention span and my memory gets jarred. Now I am moving around like the Walking Dead and losing my chain of thought as I go about my morning. Moving forward I am in my car and as I am half way into my journey I reach down to grab my cute insulated coffee cup from my cup holder and unbeknownst to me, it’s missing. Are you effing kidding me? There was only one thing that could possibly be done and that was to whip a U-Turn and go back and get it. Looking at the time, my location, and the weather makes for a late day. Did I over-react by making a hasty decision. I know I could have swooped to a local coffee shop and purchased another cup of coffee, but there is nothing better then a freshly brewed cup of coffee from my Keurig. Plus everyone knows that coffee made at home is always better. Turning around and going back to the house is my topic of today. What is deemed important enough to make us sacrifice everything in our morning or detailed journey to cease and recover. There used to be a time when you could call your neighbor or close family member to handle an emergency when you have arrived at your destination for example: let the dog or cat in with the key you have hidden outside your house; check to see if you turned the iron off or the oven. Nowadays we don’t even know our neighbors. Sometimes you just have to bite that bullet and go back home. Sorry Boss, dental appointment, movie date, wedding, prior engagement I had to do it! I have composed a list of six very important things or situations that could possibly make an individual return home without even blinking an eye. What would you add or take away from the list. Leave a comment, please and thank you! First world issues, are those even allowed with all of the luxuries and upgrades we are privy to in the great US of A. There are so many things we as take for granted that in other parts of the world seem like a fairy tale. Simple everyday things we encounter like shoes, paved streets, utensils, and fresh bedding never really enter our thoughts of appreciation. It's almost as if we expect those things to be there when we wake up everyday, not really even giving it a second thought. Is a bed considered a luxury? GR8FUL4 Gratefulness, what are we exactly grateful for? That is a question that can be debated for hours depending on your audience. I can ask a kindergarten class what they like the most and the answers would probably range from their mommies and daddies, stuffed animals, and juice boxes. Asking the same question to high school students might be a little different but I am sure they are grateful for their smartphones, PlayStation, and hopefully their parents. What we are grateful for can catch us off guard if we are going through strife and struggles in our lives; but on a great day (vacation) that list can go on forever. Like everything in life, gratefulness has levels. GR8FUL4 Back in January, I blogged about how thankful I am during my journey http://bit.ly/2phLHLI and how simple things in life mean so much. I have always heard the saying “The more you make the more you spend” and until I quit my job I realized how true that was. Majority of the pleasures we think we need are not really pleasures, they are simple distractions keeping us from enjoying the finer things in life. Deciphering what I need and what I want can be easily distorted but what I have and what I thought I needed made that choice for me very clear. GR8FUL4 Here is my top 10 GR8FUL4 with pics. Family, probably the most I am grateful for. Public transportation because I don't need a car, but just in case. Park and recreation for exercising. Fresh air to clear my head, feed my soul, and stimulate my mind. Education rules the nation. Public library to increase my knowledge.
Cheap start up business....how many successful business are there world wide that are making thousand of dollars that started with pocket change. When I am driving in my car around town I like to ponder on the dollars being made just in my neighborhood. That guy on his bicycle selling chips, candy, soda and corn on the cob. Or that lady who is selling Bluetooth headphones, vacuum cleaners, power tools (slightly dented) and other name brand items on her front lawn that she bought from retailers who over stocked. Or how about that mobile car wash guy who caters to the working class who doesn't have time because all his is time is for corporate team building. That is not even touching on the unseen business that are going on...Online startups.
I posted earlier on in the year about start up business and now I am looking at a new adventure that I came across that deals with MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) Multi-level marketing (MLM), also called pyramid selling, network marketing, and referral marketing, is a controversial, pyramid-shaped marketing strategy where profit is theoretically derived from two revenue streams: from direct sales to customers and from commission based on the sales of recruited team members. MLM has been around for years and is has been categorized by some as a pyramid scheme. Although legal in most jurisdictions, some entities feel that MLM businesses exploit the members of the organization. Big business like Amway, Avon, and MaryKay are big MLM corporations that have low start up and recruit people to buy and sale through a down-line of distributors. These well known businesses to not sale in retail stores which keeps prices low because of the lack of overhead. This new adventure I am looking into involves recruiting four people to start off with me by investing $2.50. This small investment turns into a bigger profit when my four recruits get four people each to recruit and do the same thing. Of course the more people that are recruited the more I gain to profit. Here is my dilemma; HOW DO I GET PEOPLE TO INVEST $2.50? This is were the plot thickens. Not everyone is a fan of MLM, and once it is even mentioned in the scheme of things people automatically say Ponzi Scam. Another way of getting individuals interested in your endeavors is by paying for email solicitation and honestly who is looking at their Spam Mail anyway. I refuse to pay for advertising because the who reason for joining this program is the low start up. So my only free option is via this BLOG and it is costing me a mere ZERO dollars. http://www.andthanks2u.com/SplashDance.php/?barbegrl Hey, I have done much less with more, but wouldnt it be nice to do much more with less! Summer is around the corner and this means that family time is about to get real costly. Not only will the kids be eating up all the food in the house, they will also cause your electric bill to sky rocket. Water bill might go down because we all know that school kids equate bathing as swimming in the local pool. Depending on how much of a budget you are working with or how much you set aside for summer plans, I have some ideas that will not put a strain on your finances. Entertaining the kids for summer does not have to cost an arm and a leg, just have to be fun and inexpensive. There are tons of things to do within your neighborhood that are sometimes free and or low priced. I have prepared a list of ten family fun activities that can be done for under $50.00 dollars without too much hassle. Pictures included for free! Picnic on the Lake or Local Pond Grab some sandwiches, drinks, chips, a ball, bat, Frisbee, and load the car up for a fun day at the lake. Sometimes the City Park and Lakes have special prices for families and you can get in cheap Water Balloon Fight Balloon fights...kids versus parents. Buy the balloons in bulk, cheaper that way, get a kiddie pool and plan your attack. Friendly wager for the loser....DISHES ALL WEEK! TRAIL WALK AND PICNIC Take the family for an adventure and learn about nature on a local trail park. Most cities have a nature trail that is usually free. BIKE RIDING Pull out those two wheelers and explore the neighborhood. Dont forget the helmets, Safety first! Skating through the neighborhood Inline skates or quads, there is nothing more funner than roller skating. Show mom and dad how to jump those curves and roll bounce! Bowling If you can walk you can bowl. The bowling alley even have bumpers to keep the fun rolling and out of the gutters. Check for family nights in your city or town. Movie Night at Home Since it is summer time, a great themed movie about the summer would fit perfectly...age appropriate of course! Outside Movie Chill Night Watching a movie in the fresh outdoors can be so refreshing. Don't forget the insect repellent. Family Road Trip Via Google Search Gas prices too steep for an overnight road adventure but you can do an hour road adventure. Ask Siri or Alexa what city is an hour away and see where the adventure ends! Pack a light snack for walking around while staring at the natives! Backyard Obstacle Course
Remember all of those old blocks and bouncy balls you have in the garage...make them useful and build a challenging obstacle course. Build one for the kids and vice versa. Mental Health Awareness Month is slowing approaching and with the senseless killing of an innocent elderly man and suicide of another had my heart heavy. Mental Health Awareness is observed in the U.S. in May since 1949. Started by the Mental Health America organization they begin putting out different themed related toolkits. These toolkits list the risks that certain behaviors present-especially young adults-to help detect early warning signs and also provide prevention and early intervention. According to MentalHealth.gov www.mentalhealth.gov/basics/what-is-mental-health/the definition for mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is very important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Mental health is that mindset we promote when we get up in the mornings and start our daily routine. This frame of mind not only comes from what we have been taught from our families growing up but genetics, environment, social status, and educational background also plays a role. Traumatic incidents in our lives can affect us as well especially if that trauma happens at a very young age. Even with the strongest family support the way an individual reacts to such emotional mishaps can interfere with our well-being. Hollywood gives us prime example of how mental health can disrupt anyone in their path by the slightest memory, comment, suggestion, recollection, or visualization, causing unstable behavior by that person. Mental stability is not something we really think about when we are going about our hectic day, but we do tend to comment on those who tend to act a bit different then what is considered normal. We as a society are quick to make comments like “Are you crazy, Are you psycho, Are you on meds,” without even thinking about the repercussions that may follow. Being of sane body, spirit, and mind doesn’t just happen, it is a process that is continuously being worked on for maximum achievement. Young people work towards this stability and living in a society with so much negative stimuli makes the attempt harder. Bullying, name calling, social media, drugs, drug abuse, teen drinking, date rape, and a slew of everything else negative. We won’t even touch on all the chemical additives and bi-products that are in the food today that alter our chain of thinking and rationalization affecting our behaviors. Healthy eating is so prominent but honestly who can afford it. Fast food is cheaper but it does terrible things to our mind, body and I am sure the soul is suffering too. Mental health is so important but yet we do not take the time to promote it. The next time you see someone doing something a little irrational, take time and think for a moment what that person may be going through or is dealing with in their lives. Take time and tell someone something positive and boost their morale or even smile while in line at the grocery store, you never know just how much it can do to a person’s spirit. Free is probably my favorite thing in the universe besides eating. My favorite thing is eating for free.
